Chapter 5 | Clothes Dyed with al-MiCasfar (dye with safflower)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ جَرَّاحٍ الْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِنَّا نَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَاتِ وَ الْمُضَرَّجَاتِ .

6. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from al-Qasim ibn Sulayman from Jarrah al-Mad’iniy who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘Wearing clothes of sharp color is not desirable except for weddings/”
