The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1956 (#Ḥadīth #4)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ ثِنْتَيْنِ وَ ثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً فِي إِنَاءٍ جَدِيدٍ وَ رَشَّ بِهِ ثَوْبَهُ الْجَدِيدَ إِذَا لَبِسَهُ لَمْ يَزَلْ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَعَةٍ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهُ سِلْكٌ .

4. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Salih ibn abu Hammad from more than one person who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If one reads Chapter 97 of the Quran thirty-two times on a bowl of water and sprinkles it on a new dress just before wearing it, he will continue to eat affluently as long as a fiber thereof is left with him.’”
