Chapter 20 | The Tradition about Wearing al-Khuff (half-boot), al-Na‘l (Shoes) and Taking them off
عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَنْ مَشَى فِي حِذَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ فَأَصَابَهُ مَسٌّ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لَمْ يَدَعْهُ إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
5. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘If one walks with one shoe and if a touch of Satan reaches, him it will not leave him unless Allah wants otherwise.’”
