The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2016 (#Ḥadīth #10)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَا تَخَتَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِلَّا يَسِيراً حَتَّى تَرَكَهُ .

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ali ibn ‘ Atiyyah who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah used the ring for a very little time and then he (the Messenger of Allah) abandoned it.’”
