Chapter 22 | The Carnelian (al-‘Aqiq)
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَماً فَصُّهُ عَقِيقٌ لَمْ يَفْتَقِرْ وَ لَمْ يُقْضَ لَهُ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ .
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Ma’bad from al-Husayn ibn Khalid who has said the following: “Al-Rida’ , has said that abu ‘Abd Allah , would say, ‘One who uses ‘Aqiq (carnelian) as the stone of his ring does not become poor and he ends up only in goodness.’”
