The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2039 (#Ḥadīth #1)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) تَخَتَّمُوا بِالْجَزْعِ الْيَمَانِيِّ فَإِنَّهُ يَرُدُّ كَيْدَ مَرَدَةِ الشَّيَاطِينِ .

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ali from ‘Ubayd ibn Yahya from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn from his father from his grandfather has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘Use Yemenite carnelian as the ring; it dispels plots, the evil plans of defiant Satans.’”
