The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2099 (#Ḥadīth #1)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْحِنَّاءُ يَزِيدُ فِي مَاءِ الْوَجْهِ وَ يُكْثِرُ الشَّيْبَ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn al-Hakam who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said, ‘Applying hair dye with henna increases the beauty of the face as well as gray hairs.”’
