The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2104 (#Ḥadīth #6)

عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ رُشَيْدٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ لِي فَتَاةً قَدِ ارْتَفَعَتْ عِلَّتُهَا فَقَالَ اخْضِبْ رَأْسَهَا بِالْحِنَّاءِ فَإِنَّ الْحَيْضَ سَيَعُودُ إِلَيْهَا قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَعَادَ إِلَيْهَا الْحَيْضُ .

6. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ali ibn Sulayman ibn Rashid from Malik ibn ‘Ushaym from ’Isma‘il ibn Bazi‘ who has said the following: “I once said to abu al-Hassan , ‘My young daughter does not experience Hayd (menses) anymore.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Apply hair dye to her head with henna; her Hayd (menses) will return.’ He (the narrator) has said, ‘She followed the instruction and her Hayd (menses) came back.’”
