The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2126 (#Ḥadīth #9)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَحْفَى شَارِبَهُ حَتَّى أَلْصَقَهُ بِالْعَسِيبِ .

9. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain persons of his people from Ali ibn Asbat from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Uthman who had seen abu ‘Abd Allah , trim his mustache up to the root of the hairs.”’
