The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2127 (#Ḥadīth #10)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَا زَادَ عَلَى الْقَبْضَةِ فَفِي النَّارِ يَعْنِي اللِّحْيَةَ .

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from those who narrated to him has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said, ‘Whatever of beard exceeds the fist is in the fire.’”
