Chapter 37 | Combing

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِهْزَمٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ عِظَامِ الْفِيلِ مَدَاهِنِهَا وَ أَمْشَاطِهَا قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهَا .

11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Ibrahim ibn Mehzam from al-Qasim ibn al- Walid who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about elephant bones, its oil (perfume) containers and combs. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”
