The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2168 (#Ḥadīth #3)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْكُحْلُ بِاللَّيْلِ يَنْفَعُ الْعَيْنَ وَ هُوَ بِالنَّهَارِ زِينَةٌ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Musa ibn al-Qasim from Safwan from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Applying eye powder to one’s eyes is beneficial to the eyes and it is beautification during the day.’”
