The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2172 (#Ḥadīth #7)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْإِثْمِدُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَ يُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ وَ يَذْهَبُ بِالدَّمْعَةِ .

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Al-Athmad (antimony) sharpens eye sight, grows hairs and banishes tears.’”
