The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2177 (#Ḥadīth #12)

عَنْهُ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) كَانَ يَكْتَحِلُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنَامَ أَرْبَعاً فِي الْيُمْنَى وَ ثَلَاثاً فِي الْيُسْرَى .

12. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Musa ibn al-Qasim from Safwan from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, applied eye powder before going to sleep-four times in the right and three in the left.’”
