The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2187 (#Ḥadīth #10)

أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فِي وَصِيَّةِ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( صلوات الله عليه ) عَلَيْكَ بِالسِّوَاكِ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ .

10. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from ibn Mahbub from ‘Amr ibn abu al-Miqdam from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said that it is in the will of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, to ’Amir al- Mu’minin that says, ‘You must brush your teeth for every Salat (prayer).”’
