Chapter 44 | Washing the Head

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ غَسْلُ الرَّأْسِ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ نُشْرَةٌ .

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ali from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al- Sayrafiy from ’Isma‘il ibn ‘Abd al-Khaliq who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Washing the head with marshmallow plant is a protective charm.’”
