The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2271 (#Ḥadīth #12)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَاسِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ لِي حَبِيبِي جَبْرَئِيلُ ( عليه السلام ) تَطَيَّبْ يَوْماً وَ يَوْماً لَا وَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لَا بُدَّ مِنْهُ وَ لَا تَتْرُكْ لَهُ .

12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from [his father] from Yasar who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘My friend Jibril has told me to apply perfume one day and not on the next day. On Friday it is necessary and it must not be ignored.’”
