The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2299 (#Ḥadīth #1)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْخَلُوقِ آخُذُ مِنْهُ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ وَ لَكِنْ لَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَدُومَ عَلَيْهِ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far , about al-Khuluq; if I can use it. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful but I do not like for you to continuously use it.’”
