The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2329 (#Ḥadīth #10)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَثَلُ الْبَنَفْسَجِ فِي الدُّهْنِ كَمَثَلِ شِيعَتِنَا فِي النَّاسِ .

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Khalid ibn Najih who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘The likeness of viola oil among the oils is like our followers among the people.’”
