The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2356 (#Ḥadīth #4)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَنْ مَثَّلَ تِمْثَالًا كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهِ الرُّوحَ .

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘If one forms a statue, he on the Day of Judgment will be held responsible to blow the spirit in it.’”
