Chapter 65 | Decorating the Houses

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ لَا تَدَعْ صُورَةً إِلَّا مَحَوْتَهَا وَ لَا قَبْراً إِلَّا سَوَّيْتَهُ وَ لَا كَلْباً إِلَّا قَتَلْتَهُ .

14. Ali ibn Ibrahim narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy that Abu 'Abdillah (al-Sadiq) said that Amir al-Mu’minin has said: "Once Rasulullah ﷺ sent me to Medina saying, 'Do not leave any picture without effacing it, any grave without levelling it and any dog without killing it.'"
