The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2373 (#Ḥadīth #7)

عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَ مُحَسِّنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ الْبَيْتُ فَوْقَ ثَمَانِيَةِ أَذْرُعٍ فَاكْتُبْ فِي أَعْلَاهُ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ .

7. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith Ali ibn al-Hakam and Muhassan ibn Ahmad from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If the height of the house is more than eight yards (Zira’ arm-length) then write verse 2:255 above that level.’”
