Chapter 67 | Fencing Wall Around a Flat Roof of the House

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي السَّطْحِ يُبَاتُ عَلَيْهِ وَ هُوَ غَيْرُ مُحَجَّرٍ قَالَ يُجْزِيهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِقْدَارُ ارْتِفَاعِ الْحَائِطِ ذِرَاعَيْنِ .

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah and others who has said the following: “About the case of a flat roof without fencing wall around it abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If the height of the fencing wall around a flat roof is two yards (Zira’ arm-length) it is sufficient.’”
