The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2385 (#Ḥadīth #6)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) لَا تُؤْوُوا التُّرَابَ خَلْفَ الْبَابِ فَإِنَّهُ مَأْوَى الشَّيَاطِينِ .

6. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from his uncle Ya‘qub ibn Salim in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘You must not allow the dust to accumulate behind the door; it becomes a resort for Satans.’”
