The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 244 (#Ḥadīth #5)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الطَّلَاقِ إِذَا لَمْ يُطَلِّقْ لِلْعِدَّةِ فَقَالَ يُرَدُّ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from certain persons of his people from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about the case of a divorce which is not with waiting period. He (the Imam) said, ‘It must be returned to the book of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious.’”
