The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2459 (#Ḥadīth #9)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ تَرُوحُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَلَاثُونَ شَاةً إِلَّا لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَحْرُسُهُمْ حَتَّى يُصْبِحُوا .

9. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah, from his father, from Sulayman al-Ja‘fariy who in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If any family keeps thirty sheep in the evening in their house, angels continue to protect them until the morning.’”
