The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 2499 (#Ḥadīth #3)

عَنْهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْكَلْبِ نُمْسِكُهُ فِي الدَّارِ قَالَ لَا .

3. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ‘Uthman from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam) , if we can keep a dog in the house. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, you must not do so.’”
