Chapter 12 | The Dogs

عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْكَلْبِ السَّلُوقِيِّ قَالَ إِذَا مَسِسْتَهُ فَاغْسِلْ يَدَكَ .

12. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from his father from ibn Mahbub from al-‘ Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about the dog from al-Saluqiy (name of a place in Yemen). He (the Imam) said, ‘If you touch it you must then wash your hands.’”
