Chapter 5 | Divorce Does not Take Place unless Once has the Intention to Divorce

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا طَلَاقَ إِلَّا مَا أُرِيدَ بِهِ الطَّلَاقُ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of his people from ibn Bukayr from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘It is not a divorce unless it is intended to be a divorce.’”
