The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 406 (#Ḥadīth #1)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْحَامِلُ أَجَلُهَا أَنْ تَضَعَ حَمْلَهَا وَ عَلَيْهِ نَفَقَتُهَا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَتَّى تَضَعَ حَمْلَهَا .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu Najran from ‘Asem ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far , has said, ‘Waiting period of a pregnant divorcee expires at childbirth and he must pay for her maintenance in fairness until childbirth.’”
