Chapter 47 | The Case of a Woman whose Husband Dies before Going to Bed with her and that there is no Waiting Period and Mahr (dower) for her
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِهَا إِنَّ لَهَا نِصْفَ الصَّدَاقِ وَ لَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ وَ عَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ .

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajj aj from a man who has said the following: “About the case of a woman whose husband dies before going to bed with her, Ali ibn al-Husayn , has said, ‘She deserves one-half of mahr (dower), complete inheritance and must count complete waiting period.’”
