Chapter 63 | Al-Khul* (Divorce for Payment)

حُمَيْدٌ عَنِ ابْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ عَنْ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِذَا قَالَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَ اللَّهِ لَا أُطِيعُ لَكَ أَمْراً مُفَسَّراً أَوْ غَيْرَ مُفَسَّرٍ حَلَّ لَهُ مَا أَخَذَ مِنْهَا وَ لَيْسَ لَهُ عَلَيْهَا رَجْعَةٌ .

8. Humayd has narrated from ibn Sama‘ah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from Jamil from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far , has said that when a woman says, ‘By Allah I will not obey any of your commands with or without explanation’, then whatever payment he receives from her becomes lawful for him and he cannot do ruju’ (go back to her).”’
