The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 595 (#Ḥadīth #8)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ وَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) هَلْ يَكُونُ خُلْعٌ أَوْ مُبَارَاةٌ إِلَّا بِطُهْرٍ فَقَالَ لَا يَكُونُ إِلَّا بِطُهْرٍ .

8. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan and Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al- Jabbar all from Safwan from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajj aj who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , if al-Mubarat (disavowing) or al-Khul‘ can take place without Hayd (menses)-free period. He (the Imam) said, ‘It cannot take place without Hayd (menses)- free period.’”
