Chapter 6 | Hunting with Stone and Clay-ball
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَمَّا قَتَلَ الْحَجَرُ وَ الْبُنْدُقُ أَ يُؤْكَلُ مِنْهُ قَالَ لَا .
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Once, abu ‘ Abd Allah , was asked about a prey killed by stone or clay-ball; if it is edible. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it cannot be used for food. 5 ”
