The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 765 (#Ḥadīth #12)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ عَلِيّاً ( عليه السلام ) سُئِلَ عَنْ سَمَكَةٍ شُقَّ بَطْنُهَا فَوُجِدَ فِيهَا سَمَكَةٌ فَقَالَ كُلْهُمَا جَمِيعاً .

12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that Ali , was asked about fish inside which another fish is found. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can use both of them for food.’”
