Chapter 17 | The Lark

3. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from abu ‘Abd Allah, al-Jamuraniy from Sulayman al-Ja‘fariy who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ , saying, ’Do not kill the lark and do not use its flesh for food, because it says a great deal of Tasbih (Allah is free of all defects) and at the end it says, ‘May Allah condemn those who hate the family of Muhammad, ‘Alayhim al-Salam.’”
