The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 846 (#Ḥadīth #1)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مَرْوَكِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَكْرَهُ الذَّبْحَ وَ إِرَاقَةَ الدَّمِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا عَنْ ضَرُورَةٍ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Musa from al-‘ Abbas ibn Ma’ruf from Marwak ibn ‘Ubayd from certain persons of our people from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muskan from Muhammad al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, disliked slaughtering (animals) and spilling blood on Fridays before Salat (prayer) except in the case of an emergency.’”
