Chapter 6 | Flesh of Animals that Feed on Human Feces, their Eggs and the Sheep that Drinks Wine

حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بَسَّامٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فِي الْإِبِلِ الْجَلَّالَةِ قَالَ لَا يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهَا وَ لَا تُرْكَبُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً .

11. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Bassam al=Sayrafiy who has said the following: “About the case of a camel that feeds on feces, abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘It cannot be used for food or riding for forty days.’”
