The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 925 (#Ḥadīth #5)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَمُّونٍ عَنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ مِسْمَعٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا اشْتَرَى أَحَدُكُمْ لَحْماً فَلْيُخْرِجْ مِنْهُ الْغُدَدَ فَإِنَّهُ يُحَرِّكُ عِرْقَ الْجُذَامِ .

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn al-Shammun from al-Asamm from Misma‘ who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘If anyone of you buys meat, he must take out the glands because it accelerates the vein of leprosy.’”
