The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 98 (#Ḥadīth #2)

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْعَقِيقَةُ فِي الْغُلَامِ وَ الْجَارِيَةِ سَوَاءٌ .

2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ‘Abd al-Jabbar and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all Safwan from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘ ‘Aqiqah for boys and girls is the same.’”
