The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 981 (#Ḥadīth #2)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَثْرَةُ الْأَكْلِ مَكْرُوهٌ .

2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad Muhammad ibn Sinan from ibn Muskan from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Overeating is undesirable.’”
