Chapter 22 | Walking to a Feast without Being Invited

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ خَالِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ طَعَاماً لَمْ يُدْعَ إِلَيْهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَكَلَ قِطْعَةً مِنَ النَّارِ .

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al-Husayn ibn Ahmad al-Minqariy from his maternal uncle who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah , saying, ‘If one eats a food to which he is not invited he eats a piece of fire.”’
