Chapter 11 | The Legacy is Just for the Eldest Son

1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ إِذَا هَلَكَ الرَّجُلُ فَتَرَكَ بَنِينَ فَلِلأكْبَرِ السَّيْفُ وَالدِّرْعُ وَالْخَاتَمُ وَالْمُصْحَفُ فَإِنْ حَدَثَ بِهِ حَدَثٌ فَلِلأكْبَرِ مِنْهُمْ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz who has narrated the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said, ‘When a man dies and leaves behind sons, the eldest son receives the sword, coat of arms, the ring and his (holy) book. If something happens to him then such items belong to the eldest son.’”
