Chapter 21 | Inheritance of the Grandfather

10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ وَجَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُعْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ الْجَدُّ يُقَاسِمُ الإخْوَةَ مَا بَلَغُوا وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman and Jamil ibn Darraj from ’Isma‘il ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Ju‘fiy who has narrated the following: “I once heard abu Ja‘far , saying, ‘The grandfather distributes the legacy with brothers in equal shares, no matter whatever the number of brothers is.’”
