2. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban ‘Uthman from ibn abu Ya’fur who has narrated the following: “This is about the case of a man who dies before going to bed with his wife. Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If mahr (dower) was assigned for her, she receives one-half as well as her share of inheritance but if mahr (dower) was not assigned she does not have any mahr (dower) but inherits from the legacy.’”
