Chapter 33 | Inheritance of Relatives with Mawali

4- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الْحَمْرَاءِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ لِلْمَوَالِي مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ شَيْءٌ إِلا التَّرْبَاءُ يَعْنِي التُّرَابَ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn abu al-Hamra’ who has narrated the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about what Mawla’ (Master) receives of inheritance. He (the Imam) said, ‘They receive nothing except soil, that is, dirt.’”
