The Sufficient (Vol 7) · Hadith 617 (#Ḥadīth #2)

2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ شَهَادَةِ الْوَالِدِ لِوَلَدِهِ وَالْوَلَدِ لِوَالِدِهِ وَالأخِ لأخِيهِ فَقَالَ تَجُوزُ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has narrated the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah , about the testimony of a father for his son, the testimony of a son for his father and the testimony of a brother for his brother. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is permissible.’”
