The Sufficient (Vol 7) · Hadith 762 (#Ḥadīth #10)

10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ إِنَّ الْيَمِينَ الْفَاجِرَةَ تُنْغِلُ فِي الرَّحِمِ قَالَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا مَعْنَى تُنْغِلُ فِي الرَّحِمِ قَالَ تُعْقِرُ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Talhah ibn Zayd who has narrated the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Sinful and false oath turns the womb barren.’ I then asked him (the Imam) about the meaning of the Arabic word ‘TunghiV . He (the Imam) said that it means turning fruitless.”
