170. Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibrahim Bin Uqba, from Sayaabat Bin Ayyoub, and Muhammad Bin Al-Waleed, and Ali Bin Asbaat with an unbroken chain going up to Amir-ul-Momineen having said that: Amir-ul-Momineen said that: ‘Allah (azwj) will Punish six (types of people) for six (matters) – the Arabs for the prejudice, and the landlords for the arrogance, and the rulers for the tyranny, and the jurists for the jealousy, and the merchants for the fraud, and the villagers for the ignorance’.
Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
