The Sufficient (Vol 8) · Hadith 314 (#Ḥadīth #1)

الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عليه السلام) إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا نَاصِبٌ وَ الْآخَرُ زَيْدِيٌّ وَ لَا بُدَّ مِنْ مُعَاشَرَتِهِمَا فَمَنْ أُعَاشِرُ فَقَالَ هُمَا سِيَّانِ مَنْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ نَبَذَ الْإِسْلَامَ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ وَ هُوَ الْمُكَذِّبُ بِجَمِيعِ الْقُرْآنِ وَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا نَصَبَ لَكَ وَ هَذَا الزَّيْدِيُّ نَصَبَ لَنَا.

314. Al-Husayn Bin Muhammad Al-Ashary, from Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Saeed, from Muhammad Bin Saalim Bin Abu Salma Muhammad Bin Saeed Bin Gazwaan, from Abdullah Bin Al-Mugheira who said: I said to Abu Al-Hassan that, ‘I have two neighbours, one of them is a Hostile one (Nasibi) and one is a Zaydiite (A sect) and it is necessary to keep relations with them, so whom shall I keep relations with?’ So he said: ‘They are both the same. The one who belies the Verses from the Book of Allah (azwj), so he has thrown Al-Islam behind his back and he has belied the whole of the Quran, and the Prophets , and the Messengers ’. Then he said: ‘This one is hostile to you, and this Zaydiite is hostile to us ’.
